One of my favorite things about this trip are the fans and les gens de la campagne. They are so warm and enthusiastic! I’ve met lots of families, dudes and couples. The kids are SO into it! The cotes were hard, but the fans gave us wings.

The infamous Belgian “Les Amis du Tour de France” were wonderful and ran out for selfies. I think they were playing The Beach Boys. I look forward to seeing them again on the Tourmalet.

At the top of Côté de Moyraze there were a number of fans wanting selfies! There was also a youth program where they got swag and played Quilles and of course corn hole. You can’t escape corn hole.

The race organizers at the finish has to get our photo! All of them! A worker at the bottom was singing song to our “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” music.

At the finish there were so many psyched kids, except for this no nonsense girl

The leaders gasped up the hill. Later arrivals were in various stages of relief and chill.

Zwift and Kate Veronneau pretty much carry this event and needs our support as it even now is still under evaluation. #WatchTheFemmes
